Marie Webre Toups, 94, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Jane (Lionel) Callahan, Danny (Belle) and Vickie (Carl) Toups; sisters, Garnet Boudreaux and Jerry Miller; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Toups Sr.; parents, Eddie and Amy Webre; son, Vernon Toups Jr.; grandchild, Lori Ann Callahan; brothers Eddie, Preston, Frances and Calvin Webre; and sisters Essie Locascio and Winne Dillon.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Landry’s)
