Marilyn Ann LeCompte Henry, 63, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
Mrs. Henry was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she taught religion. She volunteered at Lagniappe on the Bayou and worked as a teacher’s aide at Little Caillou Elementary. In her free time she enjoyed cross-stitching and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry Henry; children, Darin, Lee and Paul Henry, Paige (Ryan) Walker and Monica (Chris) Durbin; sisters, Frances (Tommy) Hammons and Sheryl (Raymond) Pitre; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorenza LeCompte; brother, Leland LeCompte; and grandparents, Sidney and Estelle LeCompte and Gustave and Eliska Bergeron.
Interment was at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
