Marilyn “Alice” Robinson Scott, 48, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died Saturday, April 07, 2007.


Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. The religious service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


She is survived by her husband, Sherman B. Scott Sr., of Raceland; her mother, Clara Robinson of Raceland; one daughter, Marquita Price of Raceland; four sons, Jerry Jerome Price, Jerome Price Jr., Ronald Lee Scott and Sherman Scott Jr., all of Raceland; six sisters, Leanna Griffin, Ledora Collins, Gwendolyn Robinson, Barbara Young and Phyllis Davis of Raceland and Bertha Cooper of Thibodaux, LA.; two brothers, Junius Robinson and Steven Robinson of Raceland; She is also survived by four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Shelvin Robinson.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Des Allemands, LA. Her hobbies include gardening, arts and crafts, and interior decorating.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
