Marion Smith, 72, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, March 24, 2014.
She is survived by her daughters, Dwana Smith, Cherita (Ulysses) Lagarde and Dionne Harris; brothers, Phillip, Charles, Harvey and McKinley Harris; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvernon Smith; daughter, DeJean Harris; parents, Aaron and Eartha Harris; and brothers, Welmon and Lloyd Harris.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Magnolia Methodist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at Blue Lily Cemetery. (Jones)
