Advocate leads area panel for disabled
May 2, 2011Marjorie Lynne Mathes, 69, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
Ms. Mathes was a member of Victory Christian Center.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Edkins; stepdaughters, Amber (Wayne) DeGeorge and Penny (Steven) Adams; friend, Barabara Fanguy; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Martha Reese Mathes
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victory Christian Center in Houma. Donations may also be contributed to The Heart Fund or The Arthritis Foundation. (Chauvin)
