Marjorie Porche

Marjorie Porche, 91, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012.

Mrs. Porche was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and was a former employee of the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was an example of love, kindness and generosity to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Dennis) McGlothin and Kay Thibodeaux; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Porche Jr.; parents, Daniel and Clysse McIntire; son, Edward Porche III; brothers, Klein, Carroll and Johnny McIntire; and sisters, Margaret Authement and Clysse Bourgeois.

Burial was at St Patrick Cemetery in Gibson. (Chauvin)
