Matthew 25 rallies to thank the Guard

May 31, 2011Mark Anthony Johnson, 43, a native of Donaldsonville, La., and resident of Belle Rose, La., died Monday, May 16, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Johnson; sisters, Olanda, Stella, Sharlene and Marlene Johnson, Rose Joseph and Stephanie (Bruce) Allen; brothers, Dena (Elsa) and Lawrence Johnson; aunts, Carrie (Earl Sr.) Walker, Carlyn Diggs and Albertha Jacob; uncle, Sidney (Jessie) Johnson; nephews, Chase and Chance Butler; niece, Chasity Butler; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Johnson; grandparents, Victor and Albertha Johnson; brothers, Victor, Leroy and Johnnie Johnson; and mother-in-law, Permilla Williams.
He is buried at Protestant Cemetery in Donaldsonville. (Williams & Southall)
