‘Crimes of the Heart’: Tragedy, laughs

Mark “Tony” Pellegrin, 47, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:58 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2011 from a sudden heart attack.


Mr. Pellegrin was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Nicholls State University. He enjoyed trips to the coast.

He is survived by his mother, Tina Pellegrin; brother, James (Helen) Pellegrin; sisters, Gina (Jules) Oubre and Kim (Steve) Hebert; nieces, Michelle Benoit, Jenny Hebert, Shellie Plaisance and Julia Grace Plaisance; and nephews, Brent Oubre, Jeffrey Hebert and Noah James Benoit.


He was preceded in death by his father, Usy “Black” Pellegrin.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
