Marlon “Marvalous” Robinson Sr., 30, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Wednesday, February 11.

He is survived by his mother and spouse, Berlen and Sterling Cooks; his father and companion, Joseph Daggs Jr. and Apollonia Nora; daughters, Kwanza Truehill and Ranisha Poindexter; sons, Marlon Robinson Jr., Cameron Griffin and DaMarcus Parker; sisters, Jarenay, Jayla, Nicole, Breana and Chanell Daggs, Antquel Fleanders, Zekeydre Robinson, Erica and Beatrice Landry; brothers, Artis Lewis, Joseph Daggs III, Tre’veyon Hawthorne, Ja’kise Nora, and Sterling Jr.; grandparents, Lucinda and Walter Robinson Sr. and Florence Daggs; girlfriend, Cheri Williams; and numerous relatives.


He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Daggs Sr.; and brother, Real Daggs.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 20, at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Napoleonville. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
