Martha Largent Winfield, 79, a native of Moss Hill, Texas, and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, June 13, at 10:45 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Darrell Brewer and wife Myrtle of Houma, and Tim Brewer of Houma; brother, Floyd Largent of Batson, Texas; sisters, Lois Klein of Houston, Texas, and Betty Cherry of Kountz; grandchildren, Paula Laurent, Tim Brewer, Jimmy Brewer, Scott Brewer and Terry Brewer; and great-grandchildren, Amber Laurent, Rachel Laurent, Nick Laurent, Kinsley Brewer, Alex Brewer, Jace Brewer, Dylan Brewer, Dustin Brewer, Jacob Brewer, Kennedy Brewer, Nathan Brewer and Evan Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Winfield; parents, Floyd and Virginia Primrose Largent; brother, Robert Largent; and sister, Lucille Smith.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, and 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Chauvin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow Wednesday. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
