Mary Ann Ballard, 49, a native of Mathews, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011.
Mrs. Ballard was Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, John Ballard; son, John Ballard Jr.; daughters, Teresa (Rayford) Ray and Rona Ballard; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sr. and Theresa Coleman; brother, Kelly Davis; sister, Welma Coleman; and grandparents, Melvin Sr. and Ceola Coleman.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at St. Mathews Missionary Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
