Mary Ann Vaccarella, 83, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, April 7, 2013.
Several years ago Ms. Vaccarella suffered a stroke but never let it get the best of her. She overcame much of its effects with determination and faith in the Lord Jesus. She loved taking care of her cats and watching plenty of TV with them. She was a talented painter and could draw just about anything.
She is survived by her sister, Carrie (Nolan) Bernucho; faithful friend, Debbie Boswell; and godchild, Cathy Stoute.
Interment is at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
