February 3, 2010Mary B. Chiasson, 74, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 12:42 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010.
Mrs. Chiasson was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughters, Darlene (Earl Jr.) Lanegrasse and Sharon (Scott) Frederick; brothers, Carol and Murphy Blanchard; sisters, Jeanne Blanchard and Lenora Guidry; four grandchildren, Cyrene, Kyle, Sadie and Raven; and one great-grandchild, Brock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Chiasson; parents, Edward and Carrie Hebert Blanchard; brother, E.J. Blanchard Jr.; and stepsisters, Maynita Foret, Margie Hebert, Ella Mae Malmedal and Irene Blanchard.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Holy Savior Catholic Church. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
She will be buried at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery.
