Mary Alice Boudreaux Belanger, 61, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2011.


Mrs. Belanger was a member of New Life Fellowship Church and a housewife.

She is survived by her husband, Linwood Paul Belanger Sr.; father, Joseph Emile Boudreaux Sr.; son, Linwood Belanger Jr.; daughters, Lynette (Richard) Blanchard and Amanda (Felicien “Phil” Landry) Belanger; daughter-in-law, Wanda Belanger; brothers, Nathan and Joseph Jr. “Brother” Boudreaux; sisters, Emilie Blanchard, Josephine Rodrigue and Natalie Robichaux; five grandchildren, Victoria (Josh) Naquin, Stephanie Stalcup, and Ashley, Sydney and Bryce Belanger; three step-grandchildren, Christina (Jacob) Boudwin, and Richard Jr. and Misty Blanchard; and one step-great-grandchild, Camberlynn Eva-Nell Boudwin.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Marie Thibodeaux Boudreaux; and her grandparents, Andrew Sr. and Josephine Pellegrin Thibodeaux, and Hubert Sr. and Irma Boudreaux Boudreaux.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
