Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Mary Boecklen, 92, a native of Kitchuses, Newfoundland, and resident of Philadelphia, Penn., and Port Lucie, Fla., and Houma, La., died at 2:05 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010.
Mrs. Boecklen was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata, and volunteered at the church and Hospice of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
She is survived by her son, William (Avis) Boecklen Jr.; daughters, Mary (William) Roder and Noreen (Greg) Bastian; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Boecklen; and parents, Thomas and Mary Cole Kenny.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Maria Immacolata Church.
Donations in Mrs. Boecklen’s memory to Habitat for Humanity are appreciated.
