Mary Lou Daggs, 60, a native of Labadieville, La. and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, September 28, 2007.


She is survived by three daughters, Rosalind Daggs, Gaillanda Washington, and Shantell Daggs; nine sisters, Joyce Mack and her husband Dan, Deborah Daggs, Brenda Daggs, and Janet Wagner, Yvonne Arvie and her husband Carold, Audrey Robertson, Patricia Jones, JoAnn Sims and her husband Cleveland, and Carolyn Joseph and her husband Lewis; three brothers, Nolan Daggs, Jr., Jerome Daggs, Sr. and his wife Eva, and Tyrone Daggs; nine Grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Stella Daggs, Sr.; three brothers Ruben Daggs, Sr., Richard Daggs, Sr., and J.C. Daggs; and his grandparents, Ruben and Delcey Johnson and Frank and Stella Daggs.

Mary was a devout Baptist and a member of Old Fountain Baptist Church. She was also a former member of the Rainbow Social Club. Her hobbies included cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

A Religious Service will be held Saturday October 06, at 11:00 a.m., at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
