August 31, 2010Mary Lee Baker DeBlieux, 75, a native of Bolivar, Tenn. and a resident of Houma, La., passed away peacefully at her home at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010.
She is survived by her three children, Jeff DeBlieux IV and John DeBlieux, both of Houma, and Melissa DeBlieux Ward of Spring, Texas; three siblings, Charles Joe Baker, Wilbur Baker and Cora Jane Baker Moore; eight grandchildren, Jeff, Corbin, Matthew, Alexande, Kylee, Jacob, Julianne and Colby; one son-in-law, Scott Ward; and two daughters-in-law, Karen and Monique DeBlieux.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jefferson “Jeff” DeBlieux III; her parents, Joe M. and Daisy Baker of Bolivar, Tenn.; two sisters, Elizabeth Sipes and Annie Grace Jernigan; and two brothers, Joseph Daniel Baker and James Allen Baker.
She was a realtor with Four Star Real Estate and a volunteer with the Terrebonne Council on Aging. She was a wonderful “Maw Maw” and she loved her grandchildren, flowers and garden.
Interment was at Holy Rosary Catholic Church
