Mary Gussie Achee, 98, a native of Baldwin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, October 19.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lanier and husband John Lanier of Thibodaux, La.; and one grandchild, Caroline Lanier of Houston, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Joseph Achee; and her parents, August Boudreaux and Alida Fage Boudreaux.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Louis Infant Crisis Center, 3513 Bayou Black Drive, Houma, La., 70360, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, 500 Goode St., Houma, La., 70360, or a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
