Mary J. Wood, 67, a native of Lake Charles, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Sunday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Terry Aucoin and fiancée Shirley Crochet; brothers, Joseph Aucion and Wilson Aucoin; and grandchild, Danielle Aucoin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wood; parents, Eddie and Louisiana Hickenbottom Aucoin; brothers, Leslie Aucoin and Allen Aucoin; and sisters, Clarise Theriot, Taia Mott and Alida Courville.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La., with a mass of Christian burial to follow. She will be buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
