Mary-Jane Chauvin, 79, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, May 25, 2014.
She is survived by her children, Joanne Tastet, Lucy Chiasson, Molly Boudreaux and Raphael Chauvin Jr.; brother James Fanguy Jr.; sisters, Genevieve Cologne and Martha Hebert;seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raphael Chauvin Sr.; parents, James Sr. and Sadie Fanguy; sister, Jeanette Cologne; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
