Mary Mitchell

Mary “P I” Mitchell, 51, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011.

Ms. Mitchell was Baptist and a homemaker.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Mitchell; sons, Joseph and Philippian (Casaundra) Mitchell and James Lagarde III; daughter, Cierra Mitchell; brothers, Rudolph (Lisa), Terry (Tasha) and Cornelious Mitchell and Aaron Sr. (Shelia) Watson; sisters, Janice (Greg) Williams, Iona Mitchell, Laura Short, Bobby Robinson and Alfreda and Paula Watson; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Watson; son, David Mitchell; sister, Iris Mitchell; and grandparents, Louise Wilson and Henry Smith.
