Mary Jane Sandolph, 94, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Feb. 14.
She is survived by her son, Robert Sandolph; daughters, Vera S. Ward and Rose S. Matthews; sister, Charlotte Station; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Sandolph; parents, Victoria Wilkins Williams and Harry Williams, Sr.; son, Charles Sandolph; brothers, Harry Williams, Sr., Jake Williams, Charles Williams and James Williams; and sisters, Getrude, Gladys and Thelma Williams.
She was a Baptist & Deconess at New Rising Sun Baptist Church and a retired cook with Terrebonne Parish School Board System for 31 years.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at New Rising Sun Baptist Church with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
