Matthew Michael McCoy, 26, a native of Minneapolis, Mn., and a resident of Fort Worth, Tx., died Sunday, December 28.
He is survived by his parents, Scott McCoy and Debrah Alaspa McCoy; son, Kyler Horton of Texas; sisters, Katie McCoy Keene of Houma, La., and Marissa McCoy of Fort Worth; grandfather, John E. McCoy; grandmothers, Linda Talbot and Ione Alaspa; and great-grandmother, Rita Talbot.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Everett Talbot and William Alaspa.
Matthew loved to hunt deer.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday January 5, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
