Mattie “Vickie” Fangue, 84, a native of Utica, Miss., and resident of Prairieville, La., died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011.
Mrs. Fangue was a member of First Baptist Church of Thibodaux, La.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Shirley) and Nathan (Darlene) Fangue; daughter, Sandra Defelice; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Fangue Sr.; parents, Nate and Mary Elly Martin; brothers, Jack, Luther and George Martin; and sisters, Myrtis Anderson, Anna Belle Lancaster, Nannie Mae Byers, Ruby Cagle and Josie “Topsie” Boutwell.
She is buried at St. Bridget Cemetery.
