Mayola Q. Plaisance, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010.
Mrs. Plaisance was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her mother, Mabel Bergeron Quatrevingt; son, Calvin Plaisance; daughter, Marlene Breaux; brothers, Junius and Roland Quatrevingt; sisters, Mary Ann Folse and Vernice Pertuit; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Plaisance; father, Robert Quatrevingt; and brother, Herbert Quatrevingt.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland. Her funeral service follow at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
She is buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
