BOEM demands ‘worst case scenario’ planning

Megan Elizabeth Hitt, 17, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010.
She was a senior at Vandebilt Catholic High School. She loved sports and spending time with her friends. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Cynthia Hitt; sister, Rachel Hitt Bivin; grandparent, Eldridge Meaux; and uncles, Tim, Darrell (Kim) and John (Marlo) Hitt.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2
