Melazie K. Cenac, 93, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, June 11, 2010.
Mrs. Cenac was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a loving wife of 43 years and a loving mother to all of her children. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and watching David Letterman every night, Lawrence Welk on Saturdays and Mass on T.V. every Sunday. She prayed the Rosary faithfully and supported the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Norman Jr. (Rebecca “Becky”), Ronald (Pat) and Kenneth (Larke) Paul Cenac; daughters, Eva (Donald) Marguerite Malbrough, Lucille (Glynn) Ann Bonvillain and Melanie (Byron) Marie Bourg; grandchildren, LaTina, Cheri, Ryan, Kevin, Holly, Angie, Jason, Jean-Pierre, Angelle, Danny, Matt, Sarah, Jake, Brad, Kelly, Jaime, Byron Jr.; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed by her entire family and friends and caregivers.
