Melva T. “Tut-Tut” Dupre Naquin, 80, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died at 10:37 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011.

She is survived by her son, Floyd (Angela Toups) Dupre Jr.; daughter, Lynnell (Donald) Gaspard; brother, Floyd (Vickie) Dupre Sr.; four grandchildren, Nikkia, Matthew and Megan Neil, and Austin Dupre; and four great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Naquin; parents, Peter and Ernie Duplantis Dupre; her grandparents, Demetrie and Bridget Ledet Dupre; one stepsister, Jerry Kriesch and Dutch; and one granddaughter, Sandy Marie Neil.

She is buried at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart)
