Mercy Gros Rodrigue, 77, a resident of Vinton, La., a native of Lockport, La., and a former resident of Houma, La., died at 11 a.m. Monday, October 27.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Rodrigue and Michael Rodrigue; five daughters, Marlyn Mabile, Julia Fletcher, Thelma Gisclair, Susan Boather and Martha Walker; her brother, Lester Gros; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weston Rodrigue; parents, Abel Gros Sr. and Marie Theriot Gros; and two brothers, Abel Gros and Raymond Gros.
She was buried at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
