Michael Chaisson Sr., 82, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Grand Bois, La., died at 1:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Earline B. Chaisson; sons, Michael Jr. (Renee’), Randy Sr. (Carolyn) and Simon (Evelyn) Chaisson; daughter, Rachel (Daniel) White; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Morgan Chaisson; parents, Eugenia and Alex Chaisson; and seven siblings, Charlie, John, Magnolia, Hilda, Daniel, Tina and Bernice.
He is buried at Rogers Cemetery.
