Michael Davis Sr., 55, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, February 8.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Davis; son, Michale (Hernika) Steward; daughters, Iyani Franklin and Rakishia Narcisse; brothers, Morris (Bertha) Davis, Ernest and Stanley Davis; sisters, Lena Hunter, Isabella (Willard) Smith, Ernestine Davis Thomas, Thelma Davis Matthews and Mary Ann (Anthony) Collins; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Davis and Mary Nash Davis; son, Travis; brothers, Webster and Jimmy Davis; sisters, Eva Mae Clay and Annie Lyons; and grandparents, Thelma Nash Jasper, David Nash, Elijah Jasper Sr., Eva Thibodeaux, Cloteal McKay and Sturgeon and Rosie Howard.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14, at Community Funeral Home with burial at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
