Michael Norris Pitre, 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, April 25, at 5:35 a.m.
He is survived by his sons, John Pitre and wife Holly, and David Pitre and wife Merry; daughters, Anne Pitre Dufresne and husband Timothy, and Janet Pitre Brunet and husband Glenn; sister, Ethel Charpentier; grandchildren, Jesse Brunet, Sarah Folse, Jennifer Pitre, Cindy Pitre, David Pitre Jr. and Cody Pitre; and step-grandson, Michael Gros.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine S. Pitre; parents, Norris Pitre and Alcida Trahan Pitre; brothers, Harold Pitre and Leroy “Bo” Pitre; and sisters, Beulah Poche, Willa Mae Taylor, Lois Carlos and Marguerite Solito.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis #2 Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
