Michael “Mike Pete” Ray Pitre, 50, a native of Thibodaux, La. and resident of Columbus, Ohio, died at 9 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Burial will be in St. Philomena Cemetery in Labadieville.
He is survived by one son, Chad Pitre and wife, Nicole; one daughter, Michelle Bergeron and husband, Carol; two brothers, Gary and Ricky Pitre; one sister, Judy P. Blanchard; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred P. Pitre Sr. and Annette M. Boudreaux Pitre; and one brother, Alfred J. Pitre Jr.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
