Mildred Galjour Pierce, 80, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Monday, March 10.
She is survived by her husband, Wiley J. “Balay” Pierce; sons, Rodney Pierce and wife Sharon and David Pierce; daughter, Janell P. Danos and husband Brian; sister, Blanche Martin; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Alice Terrebonne Galjour; brother, Lou Galjour; and sister, Grace G. Williams.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, with a mass of Christian burial to follow. She will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
