June 28, 2011Mildred Marie LaBiche Martin, 90, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, June 24, 2011.
Mrs. Martin was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sister, Grace Moore; and niece and caregiver, Nelward (Richard) Southers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Martin; parents, Camille and Emily LaBiche; brother, Claude LaBiche; and sisters, Inez Berthelot, Elsie Pontiff, Lula Cucinella and Leona LaBiche.
The family would like to thank Heritage Manor, their staff and her many new friends she met while there. Special thanks also to Dr. Stagg, Dr. Dupont and Dr. Cinnater and their staffs.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
