Mildred Sample Wilburn Green, 86, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Friday, April 20, 2012.
Ms. Green will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children and by all the people whose lives she touched. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her younger days she loved working in her yard, antique shopping and cooking.
She is survived by her sons, Gaylon and Terry (Carita) Wilburn; daughters, Glenda Stock and Ronda (Guy) Bonenfant; brothers, Prentice (Odell), Doug (Myrtle), Donald (Delores) and Ronald (Debra) Sample; sister, Lorelei Sample; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Wilburn; and parents, Willie and May Sample.
Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center, Texas. (Hargrave)
