Documenting wells leads to cleanup

September 29, 2011Milton Paul Picard Jr., 58, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Sorrel, La., died at 9:12 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Picard; step-children, John and Shelby Woods and Tony Thibodeaux; sisters, Wanda Picard and Gayle Dupuy; six grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Sr. and Marguerite Picard; grandparents; and one niece.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Ibert’s Mortuary with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Helen’s Cemetery in Louisa, La. (Ibert’s)
