Minerva Garibaldi Blanchard, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, December 22, at 7:30 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Mark and wife Karen Blanchard of Houma; daughter, Carolyn and husband Patrick Luke of Houma; brother, Tony A. Garibaldi; sisters, Mary Gauthreaux of Dothan, Al., Corrine Gautreaux of Longrieve, Tx., Mollie G. Ledet and Judy Smith, both of Houma; grandchildren, Don and Lane Luke and John, Beau and Cory Blanchard; and great-grandchildren, Kacy, Hanna and Dusty Luke and Hunter Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rannie Joseph Blanchard Sr.; parents, Antoine and Jeanne Constrantiche Garibaldi; and sons, Rannie Jr. and infant Blanchard.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, December 26, at Holy Rosary Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
