Lenten Gumbo served for 20 years, still going strong
March 19, 2010Minnie Falgout, 67, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Larose, La., died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Oschner’s Foundation Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Wiley Falgout of Larose; mother, Minta Cheramie of Thibodaux; daughters, Tuesday (Roddy Sr.) Collins of Cut Off and Dawn (Corey) Hebert of Larose; son, Kelly (Nicole) Falgout of Raceland; sister, Edith Ann Williford of Cut Off; eight grandchildren, David, Ashley, Ryan, Hobie, Saidy, Jonah, Skye and Baby Falgout; and one great-grandchild, Madisyn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Martin.
She is buried at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
