Mitch Edward Gregoire, 23, a native of Dulac, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 7 a.m. Thursday, August 28.
He is survived by his parents, Julius and Francis Carlos Gregoire of Houma; one sister, Heather Gregoire Richoux and husband Chad; his godchild, Rylan Richoux; one niece, Haylee Richoux; one nephew on the way; his grandmother, Mary Gregoire; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oris and Francis Chaisson Carlos and Albert Gregoire Jr.; and one godchild, Madison Richoux.
He was a master stylist for Regis Hair Salon. He graduated from Ellender High School and South Louisiana Beauty College. He was loved by many people and he touched so many lives. He will be missed more than words can explain. He was a member of Grand Caillou Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Locks of Love.
No services are scheduled.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
