Modez Marie Kraemer Deroche, 87, a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Monday, July 29, 2013.
Mrs. Deroche was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church and worked at Annunziata cafeteria and Robbies Po-Boys until she was 82. She enjoyed playing Pokeno with her friends and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Mike) Liner and Herbert (Kathleen) Deroche; brothers, Peter and LeRoy Kraemer; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duffy Deroche; parents, Eddie and Clara Kraemer; and brothers, Raymond and Chester Kraemer.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday Aug. 1, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Annunziata Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
