Morris P. Foret Sr., 66, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, July 11, at 8 p.m.
He is survived by his four sons, Kenneth Foret Sr. and wife Lisa, Morris Foret Jr., Danny Foret and wife Angelle, and Casey Foret and fiance’ Francine Johnson; two daughters, Lillian Scott and Christina Smith and husband Bob; one brother, Elrick Foret Sr.; two sisters, Barbara Verdin and Patricia Pitre; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Pellegrin Foret; parents, Lillian and Willmis Foret; one grandchild, Robert Smith Jr.; one son-in-law, Darrell Scott; and two brothers, Norris Foret and Harold Foret Sr.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
