Morris Joseph Rousse, 80, a native of Galliano, LA. and resident of Cut Off, LA., died at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at noon Friday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.


He is survived by his wife, Naise Griffin Rousse; two sons, Dixon Adam Rousse and Bob Joseph Rousse; two daughters, Linda A. Rousse and Lola R. Gisclair; two sisters, Laurianna R. Guidry and Genevieve R. Byerly; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Gracious Guidry Rousse; and one granddaughter.

He was a World War II Navy veteran and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
