Morris “Runt” Cleveland, 73, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, March 03.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Cleveland of Raceland; daughters, Stephanie Joseph, Marcel Bentley, Sheena Ingram and Iesha Ingram of Raceland, Perpetra Guidroz of Lockport, La., Beverly Campbell of Houston, Tx. and Phyllis Barrios of Marrero, La.; sons, Morris Bentley of Franklin, Tn., Wilbert Bentley of Baton Rouge, La., Joshua Bentley, Jonathan Bentley and Markus Ingram of Raceland; sisters, Lizzie Cleveland and Sedonia Cleveland both of Raceland; brothers, Oscar Cleveland of Raceland and George Cleveland of Algiers, La.; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ada Cleveland; son, Mark Anthony; brothers, Samuel Charles and Morell Cleveland; and sisters, Eveline Wilson, Edna Harris and Lillian Cleveland.
He was Baptist.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 08, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
