Morris Joseph Soudelier Sr., 71, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:33 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Morris (Wendy) Soudelier; daughters, Angela (Raymond Jr.) Naquin and Tammy (Billy) Gaston; brothers, Joseph (Darcey), Jeffery and Russell Soudelier; sisters, Edna Dubois, Margaret Rhodes, and Patsy and Emma Bergeron; seven grandchildren, Kacie, Jessica and Megan Soudelier, Joshua Boudreaux, Tracie Bruno, and Rachel and Renee’ Gaston; and seven great-grandchildren, Isabella and Lillian Naquin, Tyler, Christian, Michael, and Austin Bruno and Carter Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Parfait Soudelier; parents, William and Agnes Ledet Soudelier; brothers, Henry, Jimmy and William Jr. Soudelier; sisters, Mildred Vito and Auerelle Soudelier; one grandson, Brandon Naquin; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Naquin.
He is buried at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart)
