November 18, 2009Mr. Allen James Lacour, 82, a native of Mansura and a resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009.
He is survived by his son, Curt James Lacour; daughter, Kaffie (Tom) Cunningham; and sister, Gladys Lacour Francois.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Breaux Lacour; parents, Sidney and Edine Bordelon Lacour; brothers, Percy and Ryan Lacour; and sisters, Ivy Rose Lacour Ducote and Norma Lacour Venture.
He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with entombment to follow at St. Hillary Cemetery in Mathews, La.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
