Mr. Grant Thomas Hebert, 20, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.

He is survived by his parents, Clarence Jr. and Malissa Chaisson Hebert; brother, Adam Christopher Hebert; sister, Morgan Caroline Hebert; and grandparents, Gloria C. Hebert and Carolyn B. Chaisson.


He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clarence Hebert; and maternal grandfather, Dale Chaisson.


He never met a stranger. His glowing smile and positive attitude inspired his friends and others to loving life as he did. No time wasted, he was active. His interaction with his friends, time spent with his girlfriend Mary, his school work and the computer kept him busy. His struggles in life were met with courage, a positive attitude and a smile for all who offered help. He was a loving son, brother and good friend.

Interment was Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Morgan City Mausoleum.

Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of the arrangements.
