Mr. Jerry L. Smith Sr., 61, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at 8:01 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine L. Smith; mother, Hellen Smith; children, Amy (Douglas) Dempsey, Phillip, Eric, Jerry Jr. (Jennifer) and Patrick (Randa) Smith; brothers, James Jr., Robert, John and Terry Smith; sisters, Betty Newton and Judy Lawson; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James O. Smith Sr.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with a memorial service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
