Mr. Lawrence Joseph Gautreaux Jr.

Mr. Lawrence Joseph Gautreaux Jr., 71, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at 5 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Spell Gautreaux; son, Michael (Amy) Gautreaux; daughters, Susan (Timothy), Cheryl (Gregory) and Pamela; brother, LeRoy; sisters, Beulah and Gloria; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Clothilde; sisters, Eula and Betty; and step-children, Randy and Diane.

He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Church, a member of the St. Francis Knights of Columbus and a lifetime member of DAV and VFW.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at St. Gregory Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial at Grace Memorial Cemetery.
