Mr. Michael Wayne Charles, 35, a native of Franklin, La., and a resident of Lafayette, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 at 12:40 a.m.
He is survived by his father, Lee Roy Charles; sons, Michael Jr., Jonathan, Darian and Kanye’ Charles; daughter, Epiphani Kennedy; brother, Kirby Madison Sr.; sister, Wanda Green; maternal grandmother, Eunice Madison; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Perpetual Park Cemetery.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
